Horseshoe Bend Miner's ExpressYou'll board the train and enjoy a scenic ride along the Payette River to our railroad site at Banks. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will point out the history and sights along the journey. Once you arrive in Banks you will have the opportunity to mine for gems at the Thunder Mountain Mining Company's gem mining sluice. Also, step inside the Banks Gift Shop for treats and souvenirs. Each train ride is 3.0 hours (round trip) to Banks.
